Christmas Parties with a Twist – Create your own scrumptious food

The office Christmas party has become an institution in the UK and around the world.

If done well, it is to be celebrated, employees attend with excitement and enthusiasm, the boss is relaxed in the knowledge that they have appropriately thanked their staff for a hard-working year and their choice of event will be a topic of positive banter around the office as the team wind down into the Christmas break.

There is another side to this happy scenario…when things go badly, employees are disengaged and really only attending to get out of the office. There is a race to the bar to consume as much alcohol as possible before the ‘free booze’ runs out, the food offering is known in the trade as ‘conference chicken’, and the vegetarian option is an afterthought.

Bespoke Team Building

At Food Sorcery we love our team events, we approach all with the client in mind…one shoe does not fit all…arrival time, number of guests, business theme, collaborative or competitive…even day of the week alter our offer…Christmas is no different and we have a good number of clients booked in to celebrate with us.  We pride ourselves in being a bit different, Christmas with a twist or a Fresh Take on the office party…what’s the twist…well, you cook the food!

Christmas Parties for small teams

Through the last year we have hosted private, bespoke events for teams of 4 to 64, larger if needed – events are not a chore, it’s not like being in the classroom, it’s about being out of the of office and talking about anything but work.  Feedback has been tremendous; the Food Sorcery team is perfectly set to entertain and guide you through the session as required.  At Christmas, we have twisted some of our favourite corporate triumphs into an alternative to the office Christmas party – we thought we should offer some options for those who have smaller teams or insufficient in the kitty to take over Food Sorcery in its entirety…we are confident that booking with us will deliver the happy, inclusive event you are after…other teams joining the day will be like minded companies, and your team will interact more with each other and a memorable time will be had by all….have a look, bring your team – you won’t be disappointed!

Mixology at it’s best – with food!

Cocktails Masterclass with Chef Workshop – not the snappiest title, but we love our cocktail events…this is an opportunity to learn mixology with one of the best, throughout the evening, our chef will be demonstrating and making dishes to keep you and the team well fed!

Cooking Together Christmas Lunch

It’s not quite time for roast turkey and the trimmings, but join us – after a welcome drink & canapes; our chef will show you how to make a tasty repeatable starter – working in 2s or 3s you’ll create a starter and main then enjoy your meal while chef makes dessert. There is never a bad meal, with an expert chef to guide you all your food will taste scrumptious.

Christmas Party with a Twist

An evening do, come from work again greeted with canapes and a welcome drink – then enjoy working with your work buddies making delicious inspiring recipes.  We cater for all different diets and work around food allergies, if there is a particular desire in the team for a certain menu style, just ask – if we can do it we will!

In a nutshell, join like minded teams, or even invite the company from the next-door office – be brave, try something different – avoid the conference chicken, enjoy fine wines and a great inclusive Christmas party. To find out more visit
