Healthy Weightloss Works – 2 Day Diet!
We are raising funds for Prevent Breast Cancer whilst helping you on the road to better health by showing you how to create delicious, healthy meals from the 2 day diet cook book.
The 2-Day Diet is the original, clinically proven intermittent diet to get you slim and healthy, developed by Dr Michelle Harvie and Professor Tony Howell – award winning scientists from Wythenshawe Hospital in Manchester.
Prevent Breast Cancer have run a number of clinical trials of the 2 day diet since 2006, which has shown to be more effective for weight loss and reducing levels of insulin than daily dieting. Insulin is linked to risk of breast cancer and many other of our common diseases (diabetes, heart disease stroke and dementia).

Enhance your barbecue repertoire with this BBQ cookery class. You will learn basic skills such as lighting the BBQ and temperature control, alongside creating lots of tasty dishes.
This event is about enjoying the BBQ experience (yes we have a bar) with a focus on preparing and cooking meat, fish, vegetables and sides. We will also touch on spicing and marinading to achieve specific goals.
Allergies and dietary requirements can be catered for if we know in advance.
What you will learn.
The importance of good quality meat, where to find it and what to do with it.
You will be shown how to prepare and season the meat or fish you will be cooking.
You will be shown how to make Kebabs and flavour with herbs and spices and the sides that go with it.
Example Dishes – depending on availability
First Dish – Meat, Fish or Chicken – focus on preparing larger pieces of meat or whole chickens or fish for optimal results over the open flame.
Kebabs – Learn the secrets of delicious and intensely flavoured kebabs, served with sides (which you will learn to prepare) and flat bread.
BBQ Salads.
