Event Details

Italian street food known as cicchetti originated in Venice where wine bars (bàcaro) serve bite size and small dishes similar to Spanish tapas. They are delicious to eat and look beautiful, perfect for easy evening meals, dinner parties or a buffet to wow the family or guests.

During this class you’ll learn to make a selection of dishes which you will all enjoy eating in our dining room.

Skills you will Learn:

How to cook a repeatable Indian meal with lot’s of different dishes which can be made as an evening meal or a feast for friends.

Examples of what you might cook:


Polenta bites with creamy cod

Sweet and sour sardines

Polpette (fried meatballs)

What’s included:

Glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink on arrival. Enjoy the food you create at our sociable table at the end of the class any leftovers can be taken home if you bring suitable containers. Food Sorcery can’t take responsibility for any food taken away from the cookery school.

We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range spirits and soft drinks to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.

Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.

The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!

Laurie Curtis Manchester Pasta CoDidsbury based chef Laurie Curtis is a private chef who specialises in fine dining. He perfected his craft during his years working in some of London’s best restaurants. Due to recent circumstances Laurie has just started a new venture- Manchester Pasta Co, delivering fresh pasta around the local area. This way he is still able to serve tasty food to people in a safe way. He will now be hosting artisan pasta master classes. He will also be posting seasonal supper clubs, with live cooking demonstrations and a chance for guests to taste some of his finest creations.
