Class Description

Few activities provide such gratification as baking – spend the day discovering how to make the most delicious classic patisserie treats with Victoria Richardson.

Victoria is the former tutor of ‘Slatterys School of Excellence’ a trained chef, pastry chef, confectioner, cake designer and chocolatier. She has a vast amount of knowledge and shares her skills in such a way that you cannot help but be as enthusiastic as she is.

Examples of what you might make: (we’ll select the best on the day, so we might surprise you!)

  • Sable Breton with raspberry’s, butter sables filled with creme patisserie and raspberries.
  • Pate au choux craquelin eclairs, lemon & blueberry filled craquelin topped pate au choux.
  • Tarte aux pommes, crisp sweet pate sucre, the classic glazed apple tart.
  • Macaron

You will make at least three different dishes and Victoria will demonstrate additional items. You will leave with plenty to take home and the knowledge to create classic treats at home.

What’s included:

  • Tea/coffee or soft drink on arrival and refreshments throughout the day, along with all the ingredients. A light lunch will be served, and you will take home your tasty treats.
  • We have simple takeaway containers, although feel free to bring your own Tupperware!
  • We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.
  • Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.
  • The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!
