Learn to choose and cook the freshest locally sourced fish. Our fish is bought from Evans fishmongers on Didsbury highstreet.
We offer a series of fish classes, this class shows you how to cook prepared fish, from the fishmonger and turn it into an amazing dinner or simple supper for no fuss entertaining.
Allergies and dietary requirements can be catered for if we know in advance.
What you will learn.
- Choose the right type of ready to cook fish
- Sauces, marinades and sides
- Quick simple mid week dinners which also work well for a dinner party
- Plate up to perfection – wow your guests
What you might cook, depending on availability
Hake shoulder, Whole red rea bream, Asian style salmon fish cakes
Tastes will be medittereaean, South East Asian and Southern Indian
What’s included:
Glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink on arrival. Enjoy the food you create throughout the class and any leftovers can be taken home if you bring suitable containers. Food Sorcery can’t take responsibility for any food taken away from the cookery school.
We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range spirits and soft drinks to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.
Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.
The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!
