Class Description

A night of wine and cheese tasting, hosted by Decent Drop.

We’re all celebrating the easing of lockdown and what better way to go about it than a fab wine and cheese night. The theme is ‘Go East’, showcasing wines from Eastern Europe & The Middle East.

On the night you can look forward to sampling 6 wines, paired with 6 cheeses, complete with oatcakes and chutney. There’ll also be a glass of fizz on arrival and a beautiful plate of Middle Eastern food to get you in the mood.

Leave the car at home, book the babysitter and let your hair down with great company!

Decent Drop specialise in Wine & Cheese tasting Events, with a huge dollop of entertainment – they embrace the lighter side of wine tasting and we love them for it!  We met these wine and cheese buffs over zoom during lockdown and knew there was a cracking collaboration to be staged with us once our doors re-opened.

Menu – we are venturing to the East of Europe for the wines and food.  Cheeses are paired expertly with the wines.

The evening will be relaxed and entertaining, yet informative and a great way to have a night out with friends or family.

How it works:

Join us on our balcony for a welcome drink and a catch up with your group, then to your tables for food, wine and cheese – all supported by Ian and Carl’s informative chat.

You will learn about the different wines and cheeses, with plenty of time for questions and interaction.

Tickets are for 2 people and include a welcome drink, 6 glasses of wine, 6 cheeses for your table and plenty of food!

What’s included:

Welcome drink and plenty of food for 2 people, 6 glasses of selected of wine matched with 6 cheeses and plenty of entertaining, informative chat.

Decent Drop was formed by Carl Peters (previously of Translate Bar, Shoreditch and Apotheca, Manchester) who was advised by his wife to ‘get off your ar$£ and do something useful’, during the lockdown.

He had the idea for Decent Drop, roped in Ian, a local wine experts to assist and off he set, on a voyage of wine and cheese discovery.
