The French and fine dining are undeniably linked – elegant dishes with quality ingredients make French cuisine great for occasions where you want to impress, but there are also simple classics that can show-case your skills with minimal fuss.
French food is hearty, warm and full of flavour, so learning some new recipes is a great way to add some variety to your repertoire. We will look at both savoury and sweet during this class and will cover a minimum of 3 dishes. It’s a lovely evening, culminating in a delightful dinner prepared by you!

- Beef bourguignon
- A classic ratatouille
- Tarte Tatin
- Dauphinoise potatoes
- Classic Sauces demo
What’s included:
Glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink on arrival. Enjoy the food you create at our sociable table at the end of the class – if there are any leftovers you are welcome to take them home bring suitable containers!
We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range spirits and soft drinks to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.
Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.
The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!

After culinary school Laurie moved to London to further his skill set and career. There, he trained in high end restaurants of Michelin and Rosette standard.
