Class Description

Indian street foods are known worldwide for their taste, diversity and easy accessibility in various cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore to name a few. Few street dishes like kathi rolls, daulat ki chaat, chhole bhature and misal pav are quite famous.

Join us for a fun and informative evening of demonstration and hands-on cooking, we will look at a variety of different street food which you will eat as you cook and take home any leftovers.

Most allergies and dietary requirements available, just let us know when you book or get in touch with any questions

Examples of what you might cook:

  • Aloo Tikki, crunchy roadside re-treat
  • Tunde Kabab, a boastful treat of the rich Awadh culture
  • Litti Chokha, a dish that talks about simplicity
  • Chaat, A colorful fusion of taste
  • Akki rotti, the food on which the IT capital runs

What’s included:

Glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink on arrival. Enjoy the food you create throughout the class and any leftovers can be taken home – bring suitable containers!

We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range spirits and soft drinks to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.

Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.

The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!

Farzana UllahFrom a very young age I have been surrounded by Indian food. Learning to cook Indian food is passed down through generations and my mother created the wonderful authentic dishes that I now cook. Combined with my involvement in education for over a decade has essentially provided me with the credentials to teach my clients how to cook.
