Class Description

Japanese Cuisine is experiencing ever increasing popularity in the UK and at Food Sorcery we developed a weekend class that explores three of the most popular dishes – all can be replicated at home and during the class you will have the opportunity for plenty of hands-on cookery, demonstration and a sociable meal at the end.

Combination of hands-on cooking and demonstration, this extended class includes time to enjoy eating your dishes in the dining room. You will leave with plenty of leftovers and the confidence to cook more delicious dishes at home.

All classes are adaptable for most allergies and preferences, just let us know in the notes when booking.

Examples of what you might cook: things may change, trust us it will be delicious!

image of Midori gyoza making class at food sorcery manchesterUnbeknownst to Midori, her love for Japanese home cooking was born in her grandmother Reiko’s kitchen, where she watched her family prepare gyoza and vegetables. During the harsh Hokkaidō winters, this ritual of bulk cooking became a cherished tradition. Years later, Midori found solace in recreating these flavours, she brings her soulful recipes to Manchester, full circle from her Otaru roots.
