Korean barbecue restaurants are becoming increasingly popular, with plates of marinated meat served to diners who cook their own, like a hot rock or fondue in the Alps. At Food Sorcery, working with Hyeon Jeong, our Kimchi Queen, we have devised a social evening of conversation, demonstration, hands on cookery and delicious banquet.
Hyeon Jeong ran her first class at Food Sorcery in October 2017 and the story hit the newspapers across Korea, we are delighted to have her back and this promises to be a lovely evening.

Hyeon JeongHyeon Jeong. Born and raised in South Korea and now living in the UK with my British husband and two wonderful children. In my blog, you will find recipes for all my favourite food. There are lots! I want to introduce authentic Korean dishes. Not recipes that have been changed to suit local tastes, but dishes you would recognise if you walked into a restaurant in my hometown. But my fascination with delicious food doesn’t stop there. If it makes me warm and fuzzy on the inside you will find a recipe here.[email protected]
