Class Description

If you are lucky enough to travel in Malaysia, your senses are swamped with noise, colour and smells – the sum of many delicious parts, Malaysian cuisine’s influences include Chinese, Indian and Malay.

In some ways it’s similar to Indonesian food, with the two nations sharing many of the same dishes. (Warning: debates over dish origins can turn nasty in these parts — such is the passion of the region’s food lovers.)

This class is a mixture of demonstration and hands on cookery, you will prepare dishes during the class so you can all enjoy as a well earned meal in our dinning room.

Class Menu:

Mee Goreng Mamak

Chicken Kapitan Curry

Kuah kacang – peanut sauce

Cocnut rice

Glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink on arrival. Enjoy the food you create at our sociable table at the end of the class – if there are any leftovers you are welcome to take them home – don’ forget suitable containers!.

We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range spirits and soft drinks to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.

Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.
