If you are lucky enough to travel in Malaysia, your senses are swamped with noise, colour and smells – the sum of many delicious parts, Malaysian cuisine’s influences include Chinese, Indian and Malay.
In some ways it’s similar to Indonesian food, with the two nations sharing many of the same dishes. (Warning: debates over dish origins can turn nasty in these parts — such is the passion of the region’s food lovers.)
Examples of what you might cook:
- Malaysian Chicken Curry
- Laksa Curry with prawns or chicken
- Udang Masak Lemak – Pineapple Curry, a delicious dish served for lunch or dinner with steamed rice
What’s included:
- Glass of fizz, beer or soft drink on arrival. We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range of spirits, soft drinks and cocktails to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using cash or card.
- All ingredients provided, you will eat as you cook and take home the additional dishes, bring containers or use our simple ones.
- Copies of the recipes will be emailed to you after the class.
