The Mediterranean diet and way of eating is often hailed as the healthiest on the planet. It consists of glorious vegetables, pulses and grains – meat, fish and dairy are still on the menu, but they tend to be tasty accents, not always the main event. Maghrebi, Egyptian, Levantine, Ottoman (Turkish), Greek, Italian, Provençal, and Spanish influences all inspire this class.
Chef will guide you through how to create wonderful Mediterranean inspired dishes which you will enjoy eating at the end of the class.
Examples of what you might cook:
- Chicken Shawarma
- Baked fish with garlic and basil
- Tagines & Stews
- Dips and sauces, hummus, tzatziki, tahini dressing
- Flat breads
Glass of prosecco, beer or soft drink on arrival additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.
Enjoy the food you create at our sociable table at the end of the class – if there are any leftovers you are welcome to take them home – bring suitable containers!
