Class Description

Puff pastry is insanely delicious, it is also possibly one of the most finicky and labour-intensive of all pastry types – Victoria will take you through the step by strep process to perfect puff and let you know the pitfalls to avoid. In this class you will make your own puff pastry to take home and will work with pre made puff pastry for your tasty treats. Once you’ve perfected these, there will be no limit to your pastry creations – take your creations and your new skills home in time for dinner!

Examples of what you will make: Ingredients are locally sourced

  • Cheese straws – a wonderful hors d’oeuvre to go along with wine and cocktails
  • Sausage rolls – balsamic onion, Sausage meat and apple or Cheese & Onion rolls
  • Palmiers – known for their flaky and crispy exterior, yet soft and sweet interior
  • Demo – Vol au vents – baked shells, with chicken or fish in a creamy sauce filling

What’s included:

  • Tea/coffee or soft drink on arrival and refreshments throughout the day, along with all the ingredients. A light lunch will be served, and you will take home your tasty treats.
  • We have simple takeaway containers, although feel free to bring your own Tupperware!
  • We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks – additional beverages can be purchased using card or cash.
  • Copies of the recipes will also be emailed to you after the class.
  • The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!
