With Czech Republic-born Jan Cron as our head chef we wanted to tap into his extensive knowledge of European cuisine. In this class chef will teach you the art of making Spaetzle which literally translates at ‘little sparrow’ in English plus authentic sauces which take this egg noodle to delicious side or main dish. You will also learn to fold, steam and fry Pierogi, native to Poland and similar to Varenyky from Ukraine, with various fillings to create half moon delights.

Combination of hands-on cooking and demonstration. Eat as you cook and takeaway your creations. You will leave with tips and tricks to cook more delicious dishes at home.

• Spaetzle Noodles & Sauces – German soft egg noodle with a chewy, dumpling-like texture.
  • Onion and herb spaetzle with creamy lemon sauce….Bacon spaetzle with wild mushroom jus
• Pierogi – A classic comfort food, filled and shaped into half moons, originally from Poland
  • Pierogi ruskie (potato and cheese pierogi)… Sauerkraut and mushroom filling (pierogi z kapustą i grzybami)…Sweet quark pierogi

What’s included:

• Glass of fizz, beer or soft drink on arrival. We have a great bar with some amazing wines, beers, a range of spirits, soft drinks and cocktails to enjoy – additional beverages can be purchased using cash or card.
• All ingredients provided, you will eat as you cook and take home the additional dishes, bring containers or use our simple ones.
• Copies of the recipes will be emailed to you after the class.
• The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!
