Fancy having the title of Master of Cheese?!

I really am delighted to be a new Training Partner for the Academy of Cheese. This fabulous, recently launched certification will appeal to those already involved in the cheese world and also to those who would like to increase their knowledge or possibly move to a career with cheese.

A couple of weeks ago I taught a very happy group from the award winning White Lake cheese in Somerset, which was held in the newly completed Rural Training Centre at Bath & West Showgrounds. Along with working our way through the delegate pack and sampling plenty of scrummy cheese, they also had the opportunity to make (in the new test kitchen) some halloumi and mozzarella – certainly not industrial quantities as they’re used to, but new cheese they’d not made before, so who knows, I may have even sown the seed of a new White Lake cheese?!

My next Cheese course will be held on Saturday 19 & 20th of January 2019 – now what a super Christmas gift that could be?!
