Glazed Pork or Chicken Fillet

Ingredients

  • 400 g Pork fillet Or Chicken thighs
  • 2 tbsp Teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil for cooking
  • 1 clove Garlic minced or grated
  • 4 g Fresh ginger 1 tsp, grated
  • Sea salt to taste

Method

  • Trim away any silverskin (the silvery membrane of connective tissue) from the outside of the pork fillet.
  • Place all the other ingredients into a bowl, mix well and then massage into the pork. Let it marinade for at least an hour, ideally overnight. Remove from the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking.
  • Heat your oven to 180 degrees C.
  • Place a non-stick frying pan on high heat.
  • Fry on both sides until browned and sticky.
  • transfer to an overn tray and cook for 12-15 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven, rest for 3-5 minutes.
  • Slice the pork and glaze with Amazuan sauce.
