Many people enjoy shellfish and seafood in restaurants but are often unsure how to prepare it at home. In this immersive workshop, our chef will guide you through the essential techniques used by professionals, from shucking oysters and preparing prawns to butterflying mackerel and creating spectacular centrepiece dishes.
Combining demonstrations with plenty of practical cooking, you’ll learn how to handle a variety of seafood with confidence, understand what to look for when buying shellfish and discover cooking methods that bring out the very best flavours.
As each dish is completed, we’ll enjoy it together, fresh from the kitchen. Some preparations will be individual, while larger dishes will be created as a team, allowing you to experience a wider range of techniques and ingredients.
