Vegan & Vegetarian – Cookery Classes

Learn to chop, slice and dice like a pro we will teach you all the tricks of the trade so that you can understand how to choose the right knife for the job and use your knife to best advantage. Most importantly, you will learn how to use a knife safely.  You may not be able to slice with your eyes shut after this class, but with practice you will make short work of preparing the Sunday roast or Delicious Dinners.

Once all the knife work has been done, we will show you how to make delicious dishes using the ingredients you have chopped, which you’ll enjoy eating and any left overs can be taken home.

What you will learn:

• How to use a kitchen knife like an expert.
• Learn the most foolproof slicing, chopping and dicing techniques while preparing a delicious dish.
• Receive an emailed pack of the recipes you made during the class

Cooking Together evenings are as much about chatting and relaxing as they are about learning and eating – the perfect blend of meal out and cookery class, we call it sociable foodie fun. One ticket is for 2 people, and you will cook your meal together.

Enjoy canapés and a complementary beverage on arrival, Chef will guide you through creating your meal, sharing their knowledge and love of food with cooking and presentation tips so you can take Instagram worthy foodie photo’s. You will then sit down to eat your meal in the company of others in our dining area.

Cooking Together – Japanese Theme

• Starter – Vegan Gyoza
• Main – Teriyaki Bean Curd with Amazu-an Sweet & Sour Sauce;
• Dessert – Chef makes Dessert so you can enjoy your evening

For GF participants: you’ll join the gyoza folding process, then eat an alternative version.

What’s included:

• Korean Fried Cauliflower – One of the most popular dishes at the cookery school
• Dan Dan Noodles with Lotus root and chilli oil, Chinese in origin Dan Dan noodles are a Sichan classic
• Miso Glazes Aubergine with Katsu Sauce
• Chef will demonstrate how to make perfect sticky rice.
