Accessibility at Food Sorcery

At Food Sorcery we are committed to making our cookery school as welcoming and accessible as possible. We want everyone to feel comfortable joining our classes, whether you are attending for fun, learning, or as part of a group.

• Venue Access: Our Deansgate Venue is wheelchair accessible, let us know in advance so we can have a lower table and hob ready for you. Our Didsbury venue is on the first floor and is not accessible to wheelchairs or those who struggle with stairs.

• Seating & Mobility: Kitchen stools with backs are available at both venues, please ask staff onsite. We can locate guests at different workstations, let us know in advance and we can have the correct space and set up available.

• Dietary Requirements: We can accommodate most dietary needs (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal allergies, intolerances). Please share your requirements when booking so we can have everything ready. • Assistance & Support: Our friendly team is on hand to provide assistance during the class. If you need to bring an assistant or carer they will need to purchase a ticket.

• Learning Support: We like to send recipes after the class, however if you’d prefer a copy during the class or one in large print, please let us know so we can have it ready.

• Toilets: Accessible toilets are available at our Deansgate venue.

• Parking: We have free onsite parking at Didsbury within 10m of the door. Deansgate Square has a close drop off layby which is all on one level for wheelchair access. There is a choice of on street parking or car parks within a few minutes walk of the cookery school.
