Food Sorcery

From Manchester Piccadilly or Stockport take the train or metro to East Didsbury

7 min walk from East Didsbury Metro link. Exit the metro link car park onto Didsbury Rd. Walk past the Parrs Wood entertainment complex, turn left onto Wilmslow Rd towards Cheadle. After 200 yards you will see a sign for Waterside Hotel turn right onto Morningside Drive and immediately left onto the driveway, Food Sorcery is immediately ahead of you.

7 min walk from East Didsbury Train station. Exit the train station onto Wilmslow Rd, turn right and walk to Kingsway – cross the dual carriageway and go past the Parrs Wood entertainment complex towards Cheadle. Follow Wilmslow Road for 200 yards you will see a sign for Waterside Hotel turn right onto Morningside Drive and immediately left onto the driveway, Food Sorcery is in immediately in front of you.

Arriving by Car

Plenty of onsite parking right outside the door. Buzz the buzzer and we’ll let you in.

Travelling via the M60?

M60 to Junction 3, take the A34 exit to Didsbury. Continue on the A34, at the footbridge turn right onto Wilmslow Road towards Cheadle. After 200 yards you will see a sign for Waterside Hotel turn right onto Morningside Drive and immediately left onto the driveway, Food Sorcery is in the first car park straight ahead of you.

Travelling via the M6 South?

M6 to Junction 20A and use the left lane to take the M56 exit to North Wales/Manchester. Continue staying in the left hand lane and follow the signs for Manchester Airport.

Follow M56 past the airport take the exit towards the A34 signposted Didsbury. Continue on the M56 to junction 1 for Kingsway/A34, Didsbury, city centre, join the A34 and at the footbridge turn right onto Wilmslow Road, towards Cheadle. After 200 yards you will see a sign for Waterside Hotel turn right onto Morningside Drive and immediately left onto the driveway, Food Sorcery is in the first car park straight ahead of you.

Travelling from the South?

Join M6 northbound to Junction19, take the A556 exit to Manchester Airport then onto the M56.

Arriving by Taxi

Use postcode M20 5WZ and ask the driver to drop you in the first car park down the Waterside Hotel drive.

Wonderful evening, with Kev being shown how to create 2 delicious Caribbean Themed Courses and being treated to a chef made sweet at the end! Kev had us laughing from start to finish all whilst sharing his amazing skill set and tips! We would highly recommend to couples for a fun date night!  Verified Couples Cooking together
We had a fantastic experience at the Thai cooking class and would highly recommend it. The recipes were clearly explained and easy to follow, even for beginners. Chef Chorchaba demonstrated how to prepare both the starter and the main course, then guided us step by step as we made the dishes ourselves, offering help and tips along the way. The ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality, and both dishes were delicious. To finish, the chef prepared a beautiful lemon posset for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to a wonderful session. A truly enjoyable and memorable experience!

Lovely experience . The chef has a nice friendly manner and was very good at explaining what she was doing as she prepped and cooked. And kept a close eye on our efforts - ready to help, but not take over. The other staff are also friendly and helpful and worked hard to make everyone happy. The results could hardly be in but satisfactory - and they were. Thoroughly enjoyed our dishes and delicious dessert prepared for us. This is the second time we have been - excellent each time!

 Verified Brilliant Vietnamese Cooking Experience
A fabulous Vietnamese cooking course demonstrated wonderfully by chef Chorchaba. You can cook as carefully or confidently as you wish and chef is always on hand to assist if you need. The other staff are on hand to help with anything too. The menu is delicious, so fresh and vibrant and you will take plenty home on top of what you have after the event. We were also given a fresh, fragrant spice mix to take home. Drink included, plenty of options and reasonably priced if you want additional. Brilliant day, thanks to everyone.  Verified Such an amazing experience!
Such an amazing experience at Food Sorcery! We went for my boyfriend’s 25th birthday present. We took part in the Indian cooking experiance. Chef Rick was brilliant and explained everything so clearly, helping us understand how to build flavour and improve our cooking skills. Not to mention how delicious the food was! The staff were incredibly friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and we loved the music in the background. Couldn’t fault the experience at all — thank you for a fantastic class! We will definitely be back! We have reccomend food sorcery to all our friends.

What an amazing afternoon from start to finish Korean cooking Welcomed with a drink and introduction from Chef Rick Everything was explained and shown step by step. Checked as we were cooking then sat down to eat first course. Stations were cleaned and prepared by the team. Mains cooked again step by step. Fully guided and then eaten by ourselves. Sweet provided.
