Learn the essential skills of professional cake decorating in this hands-on workshop with Victoria. You’ll master how to level, fill, crumb-coat and finish a cake from start to perfection. Explore a range of buttercream techniques, from creating smooth, sharp edges to elegant piping and drip designs. With expert guidance throughout, you’ll have the freedom to add your own creative flair — designing a cake that’s uniquely yours.
Skills you will learn:
- Learn to stack, dowel and prepare a pre-made cake ready for decorating.
- Buttercream Icing for a professional smooth finish.
- Creating the perfect drip in your choice of colour.
- Buttercream decorating skills – flowers and swirls.
- Victoria will show you piping techniques to create different shapes, you choose which to put onto your cake.
You’ll leave with a beautifully finished cake – please bring a sturdy bag or box for transport.
