Class Description

Spruce up your cakes by learning the art of sugar paste figurines. This workshop is perfect for home bakers looking for a new challenge, or professional bakers needing to hone their sugar craft skills.

You will Learn how to:

  • Split, fill and crumb coat a pre-made 6” round sponge cake.
  • Cover a cake with sugar paste for a flawless, smooth finish.
  • Ice and prepare the cake drum/board to give your cake a professional look.
  • Modelling skills to create a bear on a cake with complimentary decorations.

What’s included:

  • Tea & Coffee on arrival and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Light lunch with something sweet for dessert.
  • You will take home your cake, please bring suitable containers and means to take it home!
  • Copies of the workshop notes will be emailed to you after the class.
