Class Description

Flatbreads originate from all corners of the world and are the earliest known form of breads. Our ingenious ancestors developed methods and improvised tools to create a staple to compliment their diet. Flatbreads are quick and easy with no need to wait for the dough to rise – perfect for a midweek meal.

Learn 3 different techniques that you can use to make many different flatbreads, how to add flavour into your breads and what toppings can accompany them.

Examples of what you might cook:

  • Paratha – Indian Flatbread filled with flavoursome spices
  • Khobz Flatbread – Eaten along side meals like tagine, perfect with toppings like Zaatar
  • Roti – Jamaican Roti, perfect as a base for this spicy cuisine
  • Focaccia (Demo) – Italian Flatbread

What’s included:

  • Tea & Coffee on arrival and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Light lunch will be served.
  • You will take home your flatbreads, please bring suitable containers or use our simple ones!
  • Copies of the recipes will be emailed to you after the class.
