Class Description

Get to grips with the classics of French baking — from buttery pastry to rich fillings and delicate finishes. You’ll learn the key techniques behind France’s classic bakes, discovering how a few simple skills can transform what you make at home.
It’s a hands-on class filled with flavour, creativity and the joy of mastering timeless recipes.

One ticket is for two people, feel free to come alone and bake double the amount. Suitable to attend with children age 10+

Example Dishes: Let us know of any allergies or dietary requirements in the booking notes

  • Tarte Au Citron – A classic French dessert, with a crisp, buttery pastry shell filled with a creamy, zesty lemon curd
  • Madeleines – Traditional French sponge cakes with a distinctive shell-like shape
  • Demo of Salted caramel sauce or Profiteroles to taste and take home

What’s Included:

  • Tea/Coffee or soft drinks on arrival, all ingredients you need.
  • You will sit down to a light lunch during the class and will take away your creations.
  • Bring your own containers to transport your creations home, we have simple ones if you forget.
  • Copies of the recipes will be emailed to you after the class.
  • The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!

Victoria Richardson is the former tutor of ‘Slatterys School of Excellence’ a trained chef, pastry chef, confectioner, cake designer and chocolatier. She has a vast amount of knowledge and shares her skills in such a way that you cannot help but be as enthusiastic as she is.
