Class Description

A gastropub is a hybrid pub, bar, and restaurant, during this cookery class you’ll take advantage of not only chef’s skills to show you how to make pub classics but also our extensive bar and fantastic wine list – we’ll help you match your wine to the food you create so you can enjoy a leisurely lunch prepared by you!

Cooking Together evenings are the perfect blend of meal out and cookery class – sociable foodie fun.  One ticket is for 2 people and you will cook your meal together. Our menu varies with seasonal availability.

Enjoy canapés and a complementary glass of fizz on arrival, and Chef will guide you through creating your meal, sharing their knowledge and love of food with cooking and presentation tips throughout. You will then sit down to eat your meal in the company of others in our dining room.

Examples of what you might create:

  • Starter: Twice baked cheese souffle with all the sauces
  • Main: Lamb Steak with Whipped Pomme Puree, Sautee Greens, Baby Turnips, and Port Jus
  • Desert: Sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce

What’s included:

Complimentary Canapés and a glass of fizz on arrival (soft drinks also available), and the food you prepare. Copies of the recipes will be emailed afterwards. Most importantly, you don’t need to do the washing up; all the fun, none of the work.

Fully Stocked Bar

We have a fully stocked bar with some amazing wines, beers and spirits to enjoy during your evening. A range of soft drinks are also available. These can be purchased using card or cash.
