Latte art was popularised at Seattle’s Espresso Vivace during the late 1980s and early 1990s. There’s something about a beautifully poured design that makes a great coffee even more satisfying—and, like a snowflake or fingerprint, every pour is unique.
Join Gav, our barista with more than 20 years’ experience, for a hands-on workshop learning how to texture milk and pour your own latte art. Suitable for all abilities, from hospitality professionals to home coffee lovers looking to take their skills to the next level.
Skills you’ll learn:
- How to steam and stretch milk to create silky microfoam
- How to control the milk flow when pouring
- How to pour a solid heart, tulip and rosetta
- Plenty of hands-on practice with guidance from Gav
