Class Description

Learn to make a Sourdough pizza. Making bread from scratch is a skill that both fills your kitchen with wonderful aromas and brings the immense satisfaction of taking the simplest of ingredients and creating something so delicious.

Baker Victoria Richardson will bring a sourdough starter for you to make your pizza, crackers, pretzels and or breadsticks. You will then learn how to make a regular dough to give you skills to make different types of bread.

Examples of what you will learn:

  • Sourdough – How to create and feed a starter, you will make a quick prove Sourdough pizza, learning to gently stretch the dough as well as make pretzels and breadsticks. Create Sourdough crackers from your starter discard. You will eat your pizza during the class.
  • Traditional Loaf & Bagels – Using a regular dough which will prove over lunch you will make a traditional loaf and bagels.

What’s Included:

  • Tea & Coffee on arrival and refreshments throughout the day.
  • Light lunch – you will eat the pizza that you make.
  • You will take home your creations, please bring suitable containers and means to take them home!
  • Copies of the recipes and notes will be emailed to you after the class.
  • The added bonus is the washing up is all done for you!
