Middle Eastern cooking brings together warming spices, fresh herbs, grains and vegetables to create generous dishes made for sharing. From colourful mezze and freshly made breads to fragrant rice dishes and rich centrepieces, the food is full of flavour and perfect for bringing people together.
Suitable for all cooking abilities, the class combines chef demonstrations with plenty of hands-on cooking. You’ll learn how to balance spices and flavours, prepare a selection of dishes and pick up useful techniques to use in your own kitchen.
This class includes time to sit down and enjoy the meal with the other guests in our dining area. You’ll also have plenty to take home and the confidence to recreate a Middle Eastern feast for family and friends.

Working with a pre-baked layered cake, Victoria will guide you through shaping, filling and finishing your cake before introducing you to the decorative over-piping techniques that define the classic Lambeth style. From delicate shells and swags to intricate borders and flourishes, you’ll discover how layers of piping can create a stunning vintage effect.
With expert guidance throughout, you’ll have the opportunity to personalise your design with your choice of colours and decorative details, creating a cake that’s completely unique to you.
Skills you will learn:
- How to shape and prepare a layered cake into the classic vintage heart design.
- Filling, crumb-coating and covering a cake with buttercream.
- Achieving a smooth, professional finish ready for decorating.
- Traditional Lambeth-style piping techniques, including shells, borders, swags and over-piping.

- Colouring buttercream and creating a design that reflects your own style.
- Tips and techniques for achieving neat, consistent piping at home.

Designed for home baristas and coffee enthusiasts who want to make better espresso and milk-based drinks in their own kitchen. No previous experience is needed, and Barista Gav will answer your questions about traditional home-brewing equipment and methods. You’ll also use our commercial espresso machine to learn milk texturing and the basics of latte art.
You’ll explore how coffee origin, processing, water quality and brewing method affect the flavour in your cup. We’ll then move on to espresso, learning how to adjust and calibrate the grinder before covering milk texturing and the foundations of latte art.
Skills you’ll learn:
- How to taste and compare speciality coffees
- How to improve the espresso you make at home
- Different ways to brew coffee at home, including V60, Clever Dripper and AeroPress
- How to adjust your grinder and achieve a balanced extraction
- Milk texturing and the fundamentals of latte art
