Cookery School of the Year – Winners

Come as a Guest, leave as a friend is our mantra for both guests and staff alike – we believe this ethos and dedication to getting people to cook more, for health for food for life lead to us winning the Food Awards England 2019 Cookery School of the year.

To say we were thrilled is an understatement, Chef Jason Palin and I were so giddy going up to collect the award at the Mercure Piccadilly Hotel in Manchester. The evening was full of the best foodie establishments from around England, you can imagine the gastronomic conversations that were had, the atmosphere was electric and luckily for us the cookery school of the year award was the first to be announced meaning we could enjoy the evening celebrating with all the other winners.

This significant award enabled by our customers through nominations and the reviews they write – we are always thrilled every time a customer says how much they have enjoyed the cookery school, their appreciation is reflected in the 5-star reviews we’ve received on TripAdvisor, Google and Facebook. Sometimes we do a little shimmy to celebrate. “This a team award and could not have been achieved without those who work for us championing and evolving our brand to deliver fun, foodie events to individuals and corporate teams.

This is such an inspired way to spend an evening. Loved every minute of it – Jason is really skilled, funny with it, really helpful. And then to top it all, a lovely social event, eating what we’d made. Thanks guys – my kids enjoyed my new found skills at home too!!
