Broccoli Rice with Lemon and Cumin

Are you tired of cauliflower rice? Try this! It eats well as a side dish or could be used as a base for a salad. Chef Jan Cron selected this dish to teach people at our Fit Food class due to it’s great taste and versatility and such a great alternative to cauliflower!

Ingredients – serves 4

  • 2 heads of broccoli, blended into rice
  • 1tsp cumin
  • 1 lemon, zest and juice
  • Seasoning
  • 1tsp pomace olive oil


  1. Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat, add olive oil and cumin then the broccoli.
  2. Cook for 3 minutes until tender and bright green.
  3. Try serving with our paleo chicken tikka!
